To Liberty Star Shareholders and Interested Parties:
On the latest episode of the Arizona Mining Review video magazine (episode 33), I watched a very informative exchange between Professors Mike Conway and Mary Poulton about copper prices and production. At 6:18 into the video Doctor Poulton begins her 15 minute presentation analyzing 115 years of basic data on cement production, a necessity for rapidly growing cities and countries and made a clear and compelling assessment of cement and of trends in the copper industry covering not only Arizona, but the industry at large.
Her data suggests we will be coming out of the copper price swoon in the not distant future based on the increased need for cement which has been an indicator for rising copper usage for 115 years.
Mary is the Department Head, Department of Mining and Geological Engineering at the University of Arizona and the Director of the Lowell Institute for Mineral Resources.
Her final statement is critical for you to listen to concerning copper exploration in Arizona and would apply directly to our Hay Mountain project, in Cochise County, Arizona.
