Liberty Star staff, management, and board directors congratulate Board Chairman Pete O’Heeron for being recognized as number 3 in The Silicon Review Magazine’s yearly assessment of the Best 30 business and technology CEOs of 2020. The Silicon Review describes its audience as members of the “enterprise start-up ecosystem,” including business leaders and professionals interested in the latest technologies and IT trends. Pete is the CEO of SpinalCyte, LLC based in Houston, Texas. He leads a team employing medical researchers seeking to develop “a regenerative medicine cure for degenerative disc disease using human dermal fibroblasts to regrow the disc nucleus.”
Pete was with SpinalCyte when he joined Liberty Star’s board of directors in 2012, and was lauded as “a significantly large and longtime LBSR shareholder instrumental in forging a relationship between Liberty Star and Northern Dynasty Minerals, resulting in a strategic partnership and the resurgence of Liberty Star in the southwestern Alaska mining region.” (NR 140) As the Company’s focus progressed toward developing Hay Mountain, Pete remained an advocate for pushing the project forward by using innovative geochemistry and geophysical technology. Pete has continued to be an enthusiastic supporter of Liberty Star including assisting the Company with its financial needs. He looks forward to the new 3D / 3D MVI ZTEM inversion package as being key to obtaining a Hay Mountain Project drilling partnership.
